24/11/2007 - Early Christmas presents

Santa came early as I started to collect a few things in advance for starting on the wings

A hole tool for making lightening tools in the tie down bracket spacers;  a ratcheting crimp tool for electrical connectors; some 7/64" drills as I know I am going to need to put the odd countersink pop rivet in the next time I do some work on the rudder; oh and a few more rivet gun caps which are great when bucking universal heads they protect them a treat.  Eddie stop eating the catalogue !!!  Yes Eddie likes it when new things arrive in boxes and packets...

Then there is my new heated AOA dynon pitot; nice piece of kit and will mean I dont need to cut up the wing for stall warners etc as this has one built in.....winner!  Bob is examining it.  The third picture along show the AOA port just below the pitot port.  I also bought into SafeAir's pitot static kit; the AOA kit; alternate air source kit; wing disconnect kit; and their dynon pitot mast.....ok I nearly bought everything SafeAir has!!! you can find them here http://www.safeair1.com their web site wont let you place an order from the UK but a quick email sorts it out.

And finally but not least I pulled out the sealer that I ordered from Vans from the fridge.  (it was in the fridge to extend its lifespan) This is for sealing the rudder training edge...I think its going to be messy !!
